A set of 10 English ironstone breakfast plates by Spode Copeland.
 The Tower model, with its deep blue printed design, has existed since the 19th century and continued to be produced by Spode until the 20th. It depicts a bucolic view of the Salario Bridge in Rome, which was once topped by a tower.
 The border is beautifully fretted with a slight relief.
