Rare collection set, in fine earthenware, by the Bordeaux manufacturer of David Johnston, consisting of a serving dish and 7 dessert plates.
Scalloped and highly decorated model, printed says "Turkish style" in green shades.
David Johnston is the founder of the Bordeaux porcelain factory in 1836 and subsequently joined the renowned Old man in 1845 then ceded the business to him. He will also become mayor of Bordeaux between 1838 and 1842.

Flat diameter: 33cm
The whole is very weathered by time: borders yellowed, worn scratches, a small defect in the center of the dish, 2 small chips on the edge of the plates, a shine under a plate, as well as a hair on another (all visible in the photos). Despite its 200 years of age, the decor is not altered.
